Walter Riley, a civil rights attorney, was in Haiti during the earthquake on Tuesday, January 12, 2010.
Eight days later he speaks at the Cathedral of Christ the Light in Oakland, California about the reason he was in Haiti, his experience of the earthquake and his frustration with the lack of a timely and adequate response by authorities. The event was hosted by the Legal Justice Center at the Cathedral.
